The Thin Silver Huggie Earrings are a plain, polished 925 sterling silver hoop, worn close and hinged so it sits snug at the earlobe rather than swinging. No plating, no stones -- just the metal itself, in three sizes.
Color: Silver-tone (polished 925 sterling silver, unplated).
What Makes This Different
-
925 Sterling Silver, Left Unplated: This is the silver piece in the pair -- what you see is 92.5% silver, not a plated finish over another metal.
-
A Hinge, Not a Post-and-Back: The hoop opens on a hinge and clicks shut with a small pin -- no butterfly back to lose, no post to line up by feel.
-
Three True Sizes: 6mm, 8mm and 10mm are the actual inside diameter of the hoop, not a loose "small/medium/large" label.
-
Nickel-Free: Sterling silver is the standard recommendation for sensitive ears for a reason -- nickel isn't in the alloy.

How to Style It
At 6mm and 8mm these read as a quiet, everyday hoop -- close enough to the lobe that they don't catch on hair or a collar. The 10mm opens that up slightly without becoming a statement piece. Because there's no plating and no stone, they sit flat against any other metal tone you're already wearing rather than competing with it.
They're built for stacking: worn alone in a single piercing, paired across two lobe piercings in the same size, or mixed with a stud in a second piercing. Because sterling silver won't discolor the way a plated piece can if the surface wears, they hold up to being an everyday, rarely-removed pair.
Care & Longevity
Unplated sterling silver doesn't wear thin the way a plated piece can -- there's no surface layer to lose. What it can do is dull with normal air exposure over time, and a soft polishing cloth brings the shine back. Remove before showering, swimming or exercising: not because the metal fails in water, but because trapped moisture and product residue (soap, chlorine, sweat) dull the polish fastest. Apply perfume, lotion and hairspray before putting the earrings on, not after. Store separately in the pouch or box provided so they don't scratch against harder pieces.
